23 the Butterfly Effect

This week my friends and I watched the movie The Butterfly Effect. It is a 2004 American psychological thriller film written and directed by Eric Bress and J. Mackye Gruber and starring Ashton Kutcher and Amy Smart. The title refers to the butterfly effect, a popular metaphor for the principle in chaos theory. Kutcher plays 20 year old student Evan Treborn, with Smart as his childhood sweetheart Kayleigh Miller. He finds he has the ability to travel back in time to inhabit his former self and change the present. Having been the victim of several childhood traumas aggravated by stress-induced memory losses, he attempts to set things right for himself and his friends, but there are unintended consequences for all. The film draws heavily on flashbacks of the cast's lives at age 5, 7 and 13, and presents several alternate present day outcomes as Evan attempts to change the past, before settling on a final outcome. It is a great movie which let me know that small initial differences may over time lead to large unforeseen consequences.

22 Jumper

Yesterday I saw a movie called Jumper, which was produced on 2008. The movie is about a genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between "Jumpers" and those who have sworn to kill them. It is amazing that the jumper can move to anyplace they want. However, it always show us a problem that if someone has a superperformance and on one can control him, he may use it in a bad way. For example, the hero in the movie use bank to train his superperformance. It is a good movie. I like this kind of movie.

Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you find yourself. Do that on your own time.

Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life has not. In some schools they have abolished failing grades; they'll give you as many times as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to anything in real life.

Television is not real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

You will not make 40 thousand dollars a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice president with a car phone, until you earn both.

The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something before you feel good about yourself.

Life is not fair, get used to it.

New York~

We spent four days in New York... We lived in the marriott marquis which is on the Time Square. On the first day, we went to the Statue of Liberty. In the afternoon of that day it started rain dogs and cats and we all got soaked. The second day, we went to the wall street. Then I found that the wall street bull is not on the wall street but the broadway. The third day we went the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Founded in 1870, the Metropolitan Museum is located in New York City's Central Park along Fifth Avenue. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the world's largest and finest art museums. Its collections include more than two million works of art spanning five thousand years of world culture, from prehistory to the present and from every part of the globe. It is a memorable trip. I think I will go to New York again.

You may only be a person in this world, but for someone, you're the world.
No person deserves your tears, and who deservers them won't make you cry.

The worst way to miss someone is to be seated by his/her side and know you'll never have him/her.

Just because someone doesn't love you as you wish, it doesn't mean you're not loved with all his/her being.

I love you not for whom you are, but who I am when I'm by your side.

Spring Break!!!

After one week exam, spring break is coming!! Boston and New York I am coming... waiting for me~~ I will meet my high school classmate in New York. It will be a fantastic experience. I miss Chinese food. Hoping this time I can enjoy delicious one```  We have 8 people to go together... I think the most happy time is to stay with friends. It doesn't matter where you go, but it is really important to travel with right people.
